Is bike fitting something for you? The short answer is YES! Whether you are an avid cyclist or a beginner, you too can benefit from bike fitting. Bike Power ensures that you will soon be able to enjoy your bike ride optimally and pain-free, which will only improve your performance. We follow Steve Hogg's method. Using muscle and nerve tests and a 3D Bike & Power Analysis (bike analysis), we analyse all the factors that are important for determining your cycling position.
Cycling Shoes
At Bike Power, we carefully measure your feet and study their weaknesses and needs. Our shoe analysis allows us to recommend the ideal shoe for you. We have cycling shoes in stock in sizes 36 to 50, full and half sizes, and in three widths. We prefer to work with leather cycling shoes or shoes made from a material that moulds to your feet, as opposed to synthetic shoes. We opt for cycling shoes with a carbon sole. A carbon sole is very stiff, which is extremely important for optimal power transfer. All Lake Cycling models are available: CX, MX, TX and winter shoes.

Tim is een man met passie voor zo’n vak. Het mooie aan zijn werkmethode is dat hij bij de fit eerst zijn eigen waarneming doet - hoe zit je op de fiets - en pas daarna de cijfers van de Fit-Bike bekijkt om te zien of die zijn analyse ondersteunt. Bij Tim is het geen ‘lopendebandwerk’ maar ‘werk-op-maat’. Na de bikefit merk je gelijk verschil en was er - naast een prettige zithouding - ook minder krachtverlies bij het fietsen. Een mooie extra bonus.
Op basis van de registratie van mijn fietspositie heeft Tim ook meegedacht en geadviseerd welke fiets - van de vier verschillende fietsen die ik op het oog had - het beste bij mijn lichaam past.
Inmiddels heb ik ook mijn ideale fiets aangeschaft en ben ik gelijk weer langsgereden om Tim de fiets af te laten stellen. Nu al vele kilometers verder kan ik alleen maar zeggen dat het de anderhalf uur reizen vanuit Nederland meer dan waard is!
Gisteren nieuwe schoenen afgehaald en vandaag getest, in een woord superformidabel. Geweldige pasvorm en prachtig motief , samengesteld met Ellen 👍
